Call for Abstracts: International Conference on the Impacts of Soil Amendments on Dryland Agro-Ecosystems (ISADAE 2024)

Dear Colleagues,

The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) with IRD and INRAE are organizing an International Conference on the Impacts of Soil Amendments on Dryland Agro-Ecosystems (ISADAE 2024) on 28-31 October 2024 in Reims, France. The conference aims to provide a platform for discussing the latest research and developments in soil management practices and their impact on dryland agro-ecosystems. It also aims to foster international cooperation in developing strategies and projects for sustainable soil management in dryland agro-ecosystems. The Conference is supported by the European Union’s PRIMA research and innovation program and EXEBIO.

We kindly invite you to contribute to ISADAE 2024 by submitting your abstract by June 30th 2024. For more detailed information about the conference, please refer to the attached flyer.

ISADAE’s major themes include:

• Crop productivity and ecosystem services in drylands
• Soil hydrological processes and water management
• Soil biological processes and carbon/nutrient cycling
• Soil degradation and conservation strategies
• Economical aspects and valorization of resources
• Climate change in drylands: impacts and mitigation strategies

Included in the registration fees, the ISADAE 2024 conference offer the possibility of publishing a proceeding paper in a Scopus Indexed journal. Authors will be also encouraged to participate in a forthcoming special issue in the newly launched journal Cambridge Prisms: Drylands, details of which will be announced soon.
